Not medical advice
Hone is a fitness app, not a medical service. Nothing in the app — workout plans, nutrition guidance, AI coaching responses, or progress feedback — is a substitute for advice from a qualified doctor, physical therapist, registered dietitian, or licensed healthcare provider.
Consult a professional first
Talk to a healthcare professional before starting any new exercise or nutrition program, especially if you:
- Have a heart condition, high blood pressure, or other cardiovascular issue
- Are recovering from an injury or surgery
- Are pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding
- Have diabetes, an eating disorder, or any chronic illness
- Are under 18 or over 65
- Take medication that affects exercise tolerance or appetite
- Haven't exercised in a long time
Listen to your body
Stop immediately and seek medical attention if you experience chest pain, dizziness, severe shortness of breath, joint pain, or any symptom that feels wrong. Don't push through warning signs because an app told you to. The app doesn't know your body — you do.
AI limitations
Hone's AI coach is helpful but not infallible. It can be wrong about form cues, exercise alternatives, calorie estimates, or macro counts. Treat its suggestions as a starting point, not gospel. When in doubt, ask a human expert.
No guarantees
Results depend on consistency, genetics, recovery, nutrition, sleep, and many factors outside the app. Hone makes no promises about specific weight loss, muscle gain, performance, or health outcomes.
Use of the app is at your own risk
By using Hone you accept full responsibility for your training, nutrition, and health decisions. Hone Fitness Inc. is not liable for any injury, illness, or adverse outcome resulting from use of the app. See our Terms of Service for full liability terms.
